A Delilloesque excavation of the Patty Hearst legend. Part documentary, deadpan screwball comedy with narrative cues from Delillo and Altman showcasing a variety of voices, snapshots, and vignettes to encompass a wide range view of the era. For its wide sweep it may play a little low key at times but the economy is a little tighter than Delillo and the topic endlessly fascinating.
